Building a Brand From the Ground Up
I joined as an intern and later converted full-time, helping scale the employer branding and communications function across Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. The goal was to strengthen how the company communicated with both employees and future talent, while building a more consistent regional presence across internal and external channels.
My work spanned social media and employer branding, internal communications, Town Halls, leadership and employee videos, newsletters, SharePoint, campaigns, events and the company’s first employee podcast. I also helped standardise communication formats and build a central content repository to improve consistency and content reuse across markets.
Across my tenure, their LinkedIn presence grew from around 6,000 to 23,000+ followers, including a 51.4% increase in followers and 48.3% rise in average monthly impressions within my first six months. At the same time, the communications ecosystem expanded across new channels and formats, creating a stronger foundation for regional engagement with both employees and prospective talent.
Building a Stronger Regional Communications Ecosystem
Created stronger brand consistency, better content reuse across markets, greater leadership visibility, and more touchpoints for employees and prospective talent across APAC.
